"This was the cleanest, and coolest, hotel experience I've ever had. Very Hostel like, however the staff there was open to chatting and giving you tips on where to head in the city!"

"We are return customers from 3 years ago. Seems as if the property is ran differently than previous. Everything was pretty standard for a 1 night stay. My only complaint was the provided breakfast. We arrived at their breakfast at 7:30am. They started serving at 7am. By 7:30, the staff had alerted us they were mostly out of food which was apparent. No dishes either. I understand they can get busy, but poor planning led to this. All of the guests didn’t walk in from the street. They were booked...

"Parking was easy and plentiful. There were great ocean views and I loved the traditional Icelandic Fishing Village Vibe. The hot tub and hot water from the shower were extremely hot. They also had a strong sulfur smell due to nearby geothermal activity. Bottom line - I would stay here again and recommend it to others"

"The room was very spacious and clean. We paid a little extra to get the balcony, spa and breakfast. The staff was amazing from checkin to checkout. Breakfast was bountiful and excellent. The spa had two hot tubs and a sauna plus a relaxing area with heated floors. We went two times during our stay since it was included. The view of Reykjavik was beautiful and since we visited in late April there was light in the sky very early and late at night. We will definitely be back."

"Location is very good for bus tour pickup and dropoff. Hotel is by Bus Stop 12. Restaurants and points of interest are within 3 km radius. Staff were very helpful and courteous"

"Nice hotel fronting hugh lake, snow mountain. 24/7 reception. The front desk reception is helpful and friendly. Bus station is just behind the hotel. One of hotel stop pickup for daily bus tour which is so convenient. Very highspeed wifi. Occasionally heard some light reno construction noise. At night, is quiet and windy. Just feel safe. "

The hotel alerted us during the night when the Northern Lights were visible -- we were delighted to be able to see them!"

"Decor of the room is sleek, new design, no aircond, need to open up window for cold air to come in. The problems are in between walls no soundproof. I could hear my upstairs running jumping after 11pm. My next wall tv noise, other side wall talkg. At 1am +, i was awaken by noises chasing northern lights outside my windows."
