"The configuration is unlike anything else I have seen. It is a series of houses/apartments across the town that are rented out as hotel rooms. Ours was a 5 minute walk from the main desk. The house looked more like a B&B than a hotel. The room was awesome with a living room, two TVs, kitchenette, bathroom and a king size bed. I would definitely stay here again."

"The Fox Hostel is a little off the beaten path, but for a hostel, it’s so nice!! It was well organized, had a great kitchen, and the beds were spacious even for two people. The only thing that was a little tricky was storage for your bags. Make sure you stake your claim early or you’ll be out of luck! But there’s also space on your bed to store things, so not too big of a deal. Overall, a great experience!!"

"The staff was very helpful when our room felt extremely hot because the heater wouldn’t turn off and the window would not open wide enough to let the cool air in. They moved us to a different room which was 100% better. Rooms were clean."

"Super friendly staff, location was convenient and close to downtown. Rooms were clean and washroom was a good size. We stayed in the family suite which was located on the first floor (main floor was 2nd). The wifi was not working on the first floor but did work on main and 3rd floor. Rooms do not have a telephone if you need room service, so you'll need to go to front desk to get help."

Additionally, the in-room amenities were quite limited — only a hair dryer and an electric kettle were provided. Since we arrived late in the evening, we had no means to cook a meal and struggled to find a nearby place that served food at that hour. "Decor of the room is sleek, new design, no aircond, need to open up window for cold air to come in. The problems are in between walls no soundproof. I could hear my upstairs running jumping after 11pm. My next wall tv noise, other side wall talkg. At 1am +, i was awaken by noises chasing northern lights outside my windows."
