"There were dishes left in the dishwasher that were not clean. Explaining all the different properties and the fact that you have to park to get a room key would be something the listing should say. Parking was a big issue as there were no open spots many blocks from the property. The room was nice and the front desk staff was also great. "

"This hotel is top notch. Beyond beautiful with wonderful amenities. There are 3 hot tubs and a sauna with beautiful views. There is also a small pond to take a cold dip in if you dare! The breakfast was delicious and the service was wonderful. The lobby is beautiful and a comfortable place to hang out in. Parking is included. The room was spacious and quiet. "Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Unser Ausblick vom Zimmer auf Meer und Stadt aus dem 12. Stock war wunderbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bei Abreise um 4 Uhr morgens gab es noch ein Frühstücks-Sackerl zum Mitnehmen. Kleiner Nachteil: das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze. Parken in nahe gelegenen (relativ günstigen) gebührenpflichtigen Parkzonen."

"The Hlid Fisherman's Village was an incredibly peaceful and beautiful place to stay on our first visit to Iceland. It was only 15 minutes from Reykjavik but isolated enough that we felt like we were in our own world for the week. The rooms were lovely with great views of the water and local birds. We also appreciated having access to the hot tubs and sauna on site."

"Excellent staff, beautiful rooms, amenities. Not cheap but really wonderful quality. Would recommend pre-booking with the breakfast - there aren’t ANY restaurants open before 11AM within an hour of the hotel, and adding it on later is expensive. "

"Small, modern rooms. Very quiet. Only thing was the modern vibe was a dimly lit room. Restaurant downstairs was good and convenient. Coffe and donuts in the morning were great. Locationn was good for dining and sightseeing. Parking was in a nearby lot and roughly 50 dollars for 48 hours. I enjoyed the location"
