"The hotel itself as well as the entire property is beautiful and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, food was good. Prices were exorbitant for literally everything. Most are across Scotland and the UK. The real issue we encountered, was certain staff were distasteful and had an obvious distain for foreigners. We come from Texas, I brought my dad here for his 68th birthday as a surprise to see our homeland. Mirela and her sidekick (short dark hair and blue eyes) openly pointed...

"The cutest hotel ever! Everything was fantastic! The staff was great and extremely helpful and friendly! The food was the best food I had my whole trip in Scotland! I loved it so much I ended up staying an extra night here!"

"I would say with the limited hotel options in Ft William it was fine. It is an older hotel with an updated room but very small, we had 2 twins. We did not eat there. It seemed booked up at our stay early May 2026"

"Great place and friendly staff. Really nice location near the loch and easy to drive to all the sights in the surrounding area. The breakfast that was included was very nice and the food at the restaurant in the evening was great and vegetarian/vegan friendly."

"This was a great place to stay. Breakfast was excellent, there's a large living room/ lounge area to relax in, rooms were a good size. The owner was very helpful, gave us excellent travel and sightseeing advice. The view from our room was stunning. We could watch the lambs running around in the yard next door. The only thing lacking would be a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on in the morning."

"Very poorly maintained hotel and overly priced for what you get. Their excuse is it’s a “old building” and they are working on repairs but in my view this does not excuse the price point or lack of maintenance. Would not recommend and will never be back."
