The walls needed painting, the door had a piece of wood screwed onto it. The bathroom was a separate room on the landing and it was dirty, especially the toilet and the shower and the floor. "This is a beautifully maintained building with so much character and personalized love put into it; we loved our stay! It is slightly off the “path” of larger hotels, making it perfect for us. It is so close to town, we easily popped over a walking bridge for dinner and then found the best cafe for breakfast. "The place was dirty, sheets had hair and stains. I asked for them to clean it and the sent someone who remade the bed with the same filthy bedding, blood and yellow stains in finally had to request extra sheets and just sleep on top of the bed."

"The grounds are lovely. The rooms are small but have what you need for a night or so. The common space has a nice sitting area and common fridge and dishware (common sink to wash dishes as well$ The linens were a little stained but overall nice spot."
