"The Neptune Room was pleasant and light. The heating was effective (on a very cold night). The shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. Just a few maintenance issues (one bedlamp didn't work, and the bathroom blind cord was detached). The outlook was attractive and the location between the canal and river was perfect."

We were a little worried about no breakfast on-site & didn’t know if we could get to a grocery store the first night, but the Highland Club graciously provides you a welcome basket with cereals, biscuits etc, coffee & tea plus fruit & milk. "This was a quaint place to stay that was within walking distance of a cute cafe and shops. The wifi wasn’t very reliable unless you were near the closest outside wall, but worked well there. Overall, it was clean enough, the TV had cable, and the beds weren’t too uncomfortable. I would recommend staying here again!"

"Check in process needs work. Called 2 numbers before finding someone to help who did not work for the apartment company. Then had to wait 15 mins for a lady to arrive. Not what you want after a long flight/drive. "
