"Had a beautiful view from our room in the bay tower overlooking the bay and Huggos. The room was perfect for our stay, clean and comfortable. The resort is a bit outdated and needs a refresh, but nothing that took away from the experience. Parking is $25 a day and the resort fees getting charged at checkout was a bit of a surprise, but nothing too crazy."

"Very friendly staff. The room was average size, clean, and had a balcony with 2 chairs and a side table. It was well equipped with all the basics including blow dryer and iron. "Great stay for what we needed. It was just my daughter & I. Very convenient location on the island- not a horrible drive whether going north or south for the day.
The only thing I didn’t love about the resort was the parking situation. "The hotel is located 2 blocks from the beach and multiple shops and restaurants. The rooms are very clean and modern and the beds are comfortable. There is a coffee shop downstairs which is convenient. You only get one beach chair per room which I think is kind of stingy given the resort fee. That's the only complaint we had! I would go back and recommend it."

"Outrigger ruined this property! This used to be my go to resort in Hawaii. They pull scams now. Wanted an additional $3,000.00 claimed it was expedias error. They are under reconstruction and oversold is the real story. The pool is so out of balance it bleached our outfits. The staff seem miserable and unhappy. "The hotel is very nice. We loved the whole vibe. The patio area with the huge ~150 year old Banyon tree. Is beautiful and relaxing. Beach view awesome and the beach is clean and very accessible and active.
Proximity to shops and restaurants made it an easy walkable stay. No car necessary. We used Uber and booked tours.
Only negative was how small our room was! We did have a direct view of the ocean but the bathroom and room were unusually small for the price"
