The bed was extremely comfortable and the room comfortable and quiet. We were close to the lifts so did hear people chatting as they were waiting but it wasn’t too intrusive."

The staff were all excellent - a special mention to Deborah at breakfast and afternoon tea, whose warmth and personality really stood out - but everyone we encountered was lovely.
