It was raining and very later, we were tired of trying to find this hotel. The receptionist said she couldnt help us find it at all.
Same lady Fara wouldnt open the door to let my husband me and our baby in, though it was cold and raining.
Despite me telling her i wanted to book a room because i saw rooms available online, she said no rooms available, go to travelodge oppoisite.
She said I could book online if I wanted to, so i did but she still wouldnt let us in! Even though i showed her on my phone. She stood there arguing it takes time for the booking to come through and she needs to wait before letting us in.
We asked her why she wasn't checking and she decided to go to the computer.
Finally she let us in and then we waited longer, after which she contacted someone to give us a emergency room.
Having a 11 week yr old with me made no difrerence, she was adament not to open the doors and she took no responsibility for treating us in this way. I am appauled at her behaviour.
She said we could have been drunk and before us there were drunk people around. She also said everyone is the same, thats how we treat them.
The manager was spoken to in the morning.
He defended her and said this is our policy we have done nothing wrong. But the conversation resulted in him refunding the parking charge.
Ive never been treated like this before by hotel staff. Other than this the mugs in the room were dirty.
