"The vase by the door which holds the room key was not securely glued to the base and it broke off when my daughter pushed it by an accident. The hotel charged us 1,798 Quetzal ($235 US)!! What a highway robbery. You can easily buy one for less than $50 at the market. I protested at the checkout that the vase was not securely placed like my other 3 rooms we occupied. It left a bitter taste in my mouth. My four rooms for 3 nights costed over $3,300. That’s not enough to make money off of...

"We used the hotel as a landing spot for our midnight flight. The hotel was super helpful in allowing an early check-in, and they upgraded us to a bigger room. The pool was incredible, and we enjoyed a meal before being transferred to the airport. Overall, it was a great experience."

"The room was clean, however it smelled like mold inside and bathroom shower ceiling had some visible mold. The Caracoles restaurant staff were pretty slow when bringing in drinks when asked, even after multiple times, I’m not sure if there was lack of communication. I also find that although not everyone can be as respectful, past 12am, other guests were still blasting music and being loud because I don’t think there are “quite hours”."
