"Noisy grass cutting at 6am. Large lorry parked directly outside of room at 7.30 and noisy engine for 15 minutes."

We definitely hope to return for a longer stay. Parking £12/day extra, staff will park car and bring to front when needed. "What an utter disappointment. I paid £275 to stay here. The room was not good at all - bathroom worse. The receptionist appeared to have an issue with the fact I’d booked via Expedia. Never had this before. Was forced to provide credit card details - because I’d booked through Expedia?… she proceeded to write my card details down and upon departure refused to show me she’d destroyed them… didn’t mention the pool. When I enquired about it I was told there was one slot available for me to swim...

"Parking limited to first come first served on the street, or pay additional charge for a few bookable small car park spaces, no disabled parking. We booked sea view room - carpets were covered in large stains all over the room Furnishings were in poor condition- torn chair seats in room, and lampshades. Bathroom - over bath shower , no hand rail or slip mat . Mould around taps and grouting. TV from next room could be heard, which disturbed our stay."

"Hotel has a very relaxed comfortable all day atmosphere with plenty of public spaces to relax in-the all day coffee place; the snug; the bar; the outdoor 'beer garden' area in addition to the dining room. All the staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed interested in making sure guests were happy. Shame that on our first evening the September 'Specials' menu was not available-no explanation given. Breakfast was good but felt on a budget. Only streaky bacon, 1 round of toast &...

"Great location - very convenient for train station, and fantastic that dogs are allowed to stay, though no extras thrown in for them. No air conditioning though so room was very hot, even though an electric fan was provided."

"I stayed for a few days in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. It was on the top floor and the stairways leading to it were a bit ropey, but when I got inside I was pleasantly surprised! The apartment was dated but amazingly spacious and clean with everything I needed and more. It had a very handy kitchen area, a dining and sitting area, along with a spacious bedroom with an en-suite and a further bathroom. The view of the sea was amazing.
