"Nice stay, second time at this hotel. Room a little tired but it adds to the character. Staff were lovely. For breakfast the selection of fresh fruits and Jams were excellent, however the hot foot was topped in no particular order and a bit of waiting around for the full selection to be available."

"Room was small but comfortable and well equipped. Very clean and even though at front of hotel facing onto main road, noise was limited. "Overall our stay was OK - what wasn't great was when we arrived the lift was still out of service and we were on the third floor, with heavy bags and someone with asthma. The room was, again, OK - hadn't been cleaned properly though with dust along the bar behind the bed and a big brown stain on the floor to the right. "Good location, easy to find just off the M5 with a bus stop nearby for regular buses into the centre of Exeter - we went into the city for dinner. Friendly and knowledgeable staff on reception. The hotel is fairly new and is very clean with fresh and airy decoration. The room was spacious, but very hot. The AC didn't really seem to do a lot.
