Whilst the hotel is quite impressive, the staff are the ones that made this quite memorable. The locals throughout the Mournes are the friendliest and most polite we have had the pleasure to meet. "A lovely stay, a warm welcome and smooth checkin. An extensive breakfast menu. I had a freshly prepared Ulster Fry and a very tasty omelette in the end ..... it was tricky to choose! We were weekend stayers, so being so close to the shore and it's wonderful coastal path as well as it being only a short stroll into Bangor for the best bars with wonderful live music. Perfect "
