"We think of a B&B in the traditional way, where someone welcomes you into their home. This was more like an Air B&B, but with continental breakfast supplied. We were lucky enough the first morning to find someone to call a cab for us, but never saw anyone after that except other guests. It was nice to have access to a fridge to keep drinks cold, but we were expecting a homemade breakfast."

"The room was clean. A bit small and decor was simple. Room lighting could be improved upon. Bathroom was large but we had trouble getting a hot shower. UK shower arrangements are often a puzzle. Separate hot water switches and not in the bathroom. Instructions would help for those guests that are unfamiliar. "Location is great. Walking distance from the botanical garden and queens university. It felt like a safe neighborhood. Pros- location, quaint unique hotel. Had a room with 3 beds which is rare to find. Breakfast was quite good and a fair price. Also able to buy hop on bus tickets at reception Cons We were up 3 flight of stairs. "Beautiful old hotel with lots of charm. Comfortable clean rooms. Be careful to read the parking signs on the street as they don't tell you when you check in the parking is only free untill 9am so we got a $100 parking ticket at 905am."
