"Lovely view of the lake from our room. Room was spacious. Cleaning lacked attention to detail - there was dust on the shelves by the kettle. The shower gel had been watered down. I wouldn’t eat in either of the restaurants if I stayed again. Food was overpriced for what it was. Breakfast was very busy and only one coffee machine for decaf coffee so had to wait quite a long time to access the machine Staff were friendly. "

"A shame breakfast not cooked to order. Impressive dining room, just avoid tables on a through- route. Well staffed all great at up-selling. Had a room in the main house which had difficult access to the bathroom, especially at night. (Three narrow steps up). Check in/put very smooth. Comfortable lounge areas"

All small things which should have been checked when the room was cleaned. Communal bar area was not very clean. Saw an old slice of lime on the floor by patio doors and it was still there the following morning. The breakfast tables were not clean underneath ( the centre leg) it is a nice hotel just...
