"Very friendly and helpful check in. Moved to a room on the ground floor as travelling on a blue badge,no trouble at all. Room was large and comfortable,also clean . We travelled with our dog too and she was made to feel welcome ,unlike some hotels that claim to be dog friendly. Swimming pool was nice and welcome . Nice outside seating for a coffee "

"We loved our one night stay at Lords of the Manor Hotel. It was a unique experience to stay in this beautiful English manor. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and elegantly furnished, with high quality amenities. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The gardens and grounds are amazing! Upper Slaughter is a beautiful little town to explore. You can easily walk to Lower Slaughter by a trail behind the hotel gardens. Thank you!"

"Great staff. Beautiful lobby. We stayed in B5, very large two bedroom suite. Floors were creaky and angled in places and could definitely bump your head in many places if you’re not careful. Bathrooms were large and modern. Great location. "

We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. "Aside from check-in being a bit of a sham and WiFi not being quite as good as advertised, nothing really to fault about Heythrop. Beautiful building in an idyllic location. Beautifully maintained, inside and out. We had a ‘basic’ room I guess, but even this was fabulous. Super comfy beds, great shower, lovely view. Super relaxing.
