"Ground floor onto decking no privacy people walk past all the time looking directly onto the bed ! So hot and no a/c so the one big heavy door kept open all night so worried anyone could walk in! Just one tiny top window above door. 1 fan in the room doesn't do anything. Badly designed place and in a U shape so everyone opposite looks at each other too like a block of flats."

"It is a beautiful building in a lovely location. I’m not sure if the severe heat made a few things more difficult during our stay.
We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening, and although our food took quite a long time to arrive, what we did have was lovely and we really enjoyed it. A couple who were seated next to us after we had arrived received both their starter and main course before we got our food. "A really lovely hotel and the staff were all so friendly and attentive through our stay
We did a spa morning whilst there and the massage was really good
Also the restaurant was great with delicious food and a great setting especially sitting outside in the nice weather"

"Very dog friendly stay, dog allowed everywhere. Excellent crockery pitch across the small bridge for dog exercise and poo bin by entrance to hotel. Breakfast was great, though no cereal which was odd. Rooms well equipped, kettle and nespresso coffee maker, plus both still and sparkling water with fresh milk in the pantry (where there are also top ups of tea, coffee and water plus ice). Second time here and we'll be back again"
