Hotels in Caribbean with Complimentary Breakfast

"For what we paid, it was fine. Room was clean and had a great view. Breakfast was ok, not stupendous. Luckily, they had umbrellas - to rent! $5! - to get to dinner. The pool was nice. However, no one mentioned the steps. This hotel is carved out of old structures that climb up the hill - and you must too! In a trip up to the lobby, then out to lunch and back to our room and then the pool and back and finally to dinner, we had climbed the equivalent of an 18-story building! (Not counting the two steps down into our shower...) (Ah, but we could see St. Croix from our balcony!!)"

"Clean and neat property with a small private beach that can get somewhat crowded from cruise day-passers. Staff was mainly friendly, although often came across unhelpful members. Hit with a “hotel fee” of $250 upon checking out that was not mentioned during check-in that meaningfully changed my opinion; otherwise, clean place with an OK location that did its job. Likely better spending marginally more to stay on Paradise Island with better beaches and more accommodating staff (and no hidden fees)"

"We loved the private island!! We always got seat on the beach and ended up going everyday but one out of the 7 days we spent in Aruba. It was just so much quieter than the other beaches. And the food and drinks at the restaurants there were great. The breakfast at the poolside restaurant in the hotel was our only complaint as it was really expensive for what was offered. We will spend money on good food but it was a really basic buffet. The coffee was pretty good there tho…"

"Just finish six days at the Atlantis we stayed in the reef hotel, which was an added benefit of having a full kitchen, which is a plus with kids and also the fact that they’re not many breakfast places near/in the hotel. We were able to buy breakfast stuff to make in the room from the gift shopsconveniently located in the lobby and open 24/7. I would recommend to any family to stop at the local grocery store before they get to the hotel to buy water and other knickknacks that I’m much cheaper than on site. Our room was large and up-to-date. Every single person at the Atlantis resort was pleasant and seemed happy to work there. We have traveled to many resorts and the constant battle of finding a beach/pool chairs is not an issue at Atlantis. They have it very well organized and ample supply. The ocean is very close to the hotel so from almost every room you can see the beautiful water as well as the pools! Overall, we had a AMAZING stay..The food at the restaurants was very delicious however EXPENSIVE. For a family of five we never paid less than $250 even at the snack bar restaurants for lunch or dinner. We will definitely return great job Atlantis for making a memorable vacation spot! "
