"We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. The rooms are spacious and high-end; we easily fit a large dog crate in the room with plenty of floor space to spare. The complimentary breakfast was high quality and delicious. "This property was not as described, the room had nothing but a bed and some cupboards it’s the most basic living space you can imagine. There were some unsavoury characters staying there as felt unsafe."

"Property is poorly maintained and extremely tired. The images used to show the rooms do not accurately represent the poor condition of the rooms. The "double bed" is not a double at all, but 2 singles pushed together. The lamps in the room did not even have light bulbs in them. The radiator covers are literally falling off the wall. It was not unclean, which was the saving grace and the only positive for the property. If it was any more expensive than what we paid we would be looking for money...

"First of all, there was no staff or anyone to welcome you. We reserved a room with a private bath, and when we arrived we had been assigned a different room with no private bathroom. The shared bathroom available was filthy and the linoleum was coming off the floor. The bedroom was dirty as well and the beds were like cots, horrible mattresses.
