"Lovely clean luxury feeling guest house. A lovely chatty host who goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Lots of extras in the room such as a fridge with bottled water, biscuits, tea/coffee. The room had a full sized bath with shower and shampoo, conditioner, bodywash. Very luxurious feeling rooms. "Lovely vibe, relaxing and functional. Excellent staff, I was helped with my bags. The room was a little cold int he evening and I couldn’t find the phone number for reception to ask how to turn on the radiators. Rugs on the floor would be lovely to step out of bed onto. Food all delicious."

"I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad. Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby I think it’s a converted garage. May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere "

"I stayed one night pre-cruise, and I couldn't hsve asked for a better experience. In the months proor to ny arrival, they answered my questions and accomodated my requests. They reached out ahead of time to schedule dinner reservations too. Upon arrival the staff was super friendly and helpful. They took care of everything, breakfast was scheduled, a taxi was scheduled, and the room was on the ground floor as requested, I loved jt and will stay there again if I am ever back in Southampton. "This was a lovely place to stay for a few days as we visited family and did some touristy trips. Even tho' this was above a tavern and in an area with other bars and restaurants, it was very quiet. Our room was very quaint, the staff were exceptional, the food was wonderful, the breakfast was very good. We had easy street parking. Our room was clean - tho' very small. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."
