"Wow!!! I have.never been more disappointed and dissatisfied by a hotel than Coronado. Arrival- nobody to get luggage out of car. No service to get into your room (unless you want to wait 2-3 hours he said) Check in- 2 people to check in - 25 minute wait the staff were weird like they joined a week before- didn’t even give us proper directions in this massive property to our room. Room- cute Bathroom- frayed towels!!! Room service - basically non- existent Called for water- 45 mins nobody...

"The hotel hadn’t transferred the Expedia booking into their system, so they didn’t show they had a reservation for us. Took about 30+ minutes to clear that up. Parking was a mess. They assigned a parking spot, but someone was in it. Room was located over some shops and was noisy at night."

"Ocean view villa was deceiving when you primarily are looking at the pool, but there was a sliver if you look to the side. Room was nice but underwhelming. Location perfect for the long weekend, would stay again but probably wouldn’t opt to pay extra for ocean villa"

"Beautiful, quiet boutique hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Filtered water available in lobby to refill your water bottle plus freshly baked cookies. Room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. Free bikes to cruise around town and the beach supplies were a big plus! Will definitely stay here again!"

"I had never been to San Diego or La Jolla and got this booking based on a recommendation. It was amazing. Everything about it was relaxing and excellent. "Location location! This property is quaint, and tucked into a very quiet neighborhood. Alex, at the desk, was so helpful and friendly. We looked forward to chatting with him each day. We loved watching dolphins in the morning and sunset in the evenings. Everything was walkable and felt safe. The pool was always at a comfortable temperature. Things to note: It is a dated (but maintained) property…1.Outlets are VERY scarce. If you have the space, i recommend bringing a power strip or charger. 2....
