"Expedia showed gorgeous water views- the room was NOT as described or pictured! In the back with just a very partial view mostly from the bathroom. Amenities were sparse and basic- no paper towels,no blanket, no dryer, etc. Will be contacting Expedia when I return home-did not have option to understand this when booked- "

"Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was outstanding!!! We had a car rental so the location wasn’t an issue however if you don’t have a car it wouldn’t be as convenient. Would highly recommend if your plan is to travel the island all week like we did. Great stay, clean and delicious breakfasts "

"Great amenities with a nice big pool and the hotel is right off the beach. Also a great restaurant right on the property. Rooms are a bit dated, but nice enough. Staff didn’t seem overly happy, especially the person at the pool towels to answer any questions, but the activities lady was very friendly and happy to set up a Happy Birthday display. "

"Staff was extremely welcoming, we had a toddler and a puppy and we got in very late. Security was waiting for us and helped us to our room. The staff was wonderful with my overtired toddler and showed him how to feed the fish and helped us with the puppy. Having pool toys there was a huge bonus as was having the puppy in the bar so we could eat."

"We really wanted to leave a good review of Villa du Kapress because the staff were so lovely and overall the villa is really nice, we also had one of our best meals here while we were on St.Maarten. The Villa was also nicely located so we’re weren’t right in the craziness, but a short drive away. But, there were somethings that took away from our experience. "Cheapest big hotel available in St Marten but a bit dark and depressing. Staff seemed very different and less well trained than in a normal Hilton. Only one small restaurant and bar with limited choice. "
