"Met at the hotel to celebrate a friend’s ’significant’ birthday. From the moment we arrived at reception to the minute we checked out, the staff could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful.
The restaurant was very busy but our party was looked after with cheerful efficiency and the quality of both food and wine was of a high standard. Our room was comfortable, stylish and well-equipped and the whole experience offered excellent value for money."
"Amazing hotel with a fun history. It has seen better days of course, some areas a bit cold or looking old. But it is a very impressive building, and I was delighted with my stay. The garden and the terrace at the back are great and when you go up to the terrace it's a nice view to the sea.
It's a good location, and right beside the Russel Coates Museum which is definitely worth a look."
"Lovely hotel on the cliff top. Had a superior double room which had a large sitting area too. We needed blue badge parking and the hotel can (and did) reserve a space for you if you let them know in advance. Very useful as I imagine when the hotel is full that parking in the car park would be at a premium. Very friendly reception staff on arrival. The Bournemouth cliff lift is right next to the hotel which saves the walk down (and back up!) to the beach."
"Add to disabled room, booked over 11 months ago. We had phone calls to say, do we really need the disabled room as other guests need it? Not good when you book a disabled room because you need it."
