"While the location was good. Thats pretty much what you pay for. The rooms are so outdated. There was no tv in the room, where the only air con unit was in the whole apartment. There was 1 locked door and one locked with chains. The bathroom was dirty and mouldy. When they came to fix the tv ( another issue) they advised they would get house keeping in the next morning to spray with bleach... i wasnt trilled with it smelling like bleach and asked if there was any other rooms to which i was told...

"The Darling is a beautiful and luxurious hotel. We had a wonderful experience here that began with the lovely lady at check in who was so nice, polite. friendly and extremely helpful. We were celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday and had booked a beautiful Stellar Suite for 2 nights. As we opened the door to our room, to our surprise, we realised that we had been upgraded to one of the amazing Penthouse suites!! Thank you so much to the lovely lady at checkin and the team at The Darling that...

"The room was very old and musty smelling. Cupboards hadn’t been opened. Very old I renovated room. Very different from the online photos which showed the renovated suites. Great location. Minimal staffing so hard to get information. Cockroach in one of the bedrooms was disgusting. "

Our Room was spotless, beds comfortable 6 seater table next to kitchen. 2 huge opening doors/windows in both east and North aspect overlooking the beach. The pool area is lovely with a minimal 1.3metre depth great for adults. Surf Club restaurant easy walking across park. Shopping centre also near by. "
