"Needs renovating badly. Elevators are ridiculously slow as well. Rooms are poorly layed out. Mattresses are horrible. The positives are that the rooms are fairly quiet, and reasonably clean. "

"Aspen Select is a solid choice near St Mary's hospital. The staff are kind and attentive and although the outside may not be as new as other options, the rooms are comfortable with pullouts and recliners and amenities. "

"This hotel is a great value and well located. It's on the edge of downtown--close to everything but still fairly quiet. I appreciated having the food co-op just a block away and also the fresh fruit at the complementary breakfast. The pool and hot tub were nice too."

"Parking ramp needs attention badly. Not a great access into hotel from ramp. Had to carry luggage up stairs that were wet and dirty to get to hotel entrance "

"I did not use the gym, but again the heater in the room was very noisy hard to sleep, and then the heater would stop working and only blow cold air, I had to shut the heater off for a while turn it back on. And then the TV went out so I was about a day without the TV and the breakfast was not very good"
