Not a great experience.
I’m not disabled but I was assigned a room for the disabled so the shower was roll-in accessible. I have no issue with that but the rubber strip that keeps water within the confines of the shower wasn’t working so water spilled out and got my things wet. The strip looked cruddy too.
The carpet needs to be replaced. The biggest issue I had was w/valet/reception. My car was retrieved and parked in front of the hotel - unlocked and running. I tipped the valet and left. I was 20 mins away when a light in my car indicated that the key wasn’t detected. I called the hotel and they said, “oh yeah, room XXX. We have it.” I asked why they didn’t call? I explained that had I turned the ignition off, I would’ve been stranded. I would not have been able to get my key unless I paid for an uber there and back or someone from the hotel dropped it off. He said they always keep them at the front desk so no one can steal the car. I said was it left unlocked and running and I was able to drive away so I guess holding the key wouldn’t have kept someone from stealing it. Anyone who has a car with a key fob knows the car won’t start without the key. Naturally, since the car was running, I presumed the key was inside the car. Luckily, I never turned my car off so I was able to retrieve it myself but it was aggravating and added 40 mins to the trip. Btw- they weren’t busy when I returned so there had been ample time to call me.
