"I am really not sure why/how this hotel is rated exceptional, but it is far from it! It is totally outdated and bathroom is terrible. The hotel was deserted (not sure why), the beach was small and rocky; TV didn’t work and is a super small; AC either blasted high or low and the controls didn’t work. Even despite being given the best room in hotel, these were issues. Saving grace was view of ocean from room, but low value for the high price! Disappointed!!"

"We loved our stay at Serenity Glamping. Our accommodation was the "Lodge" which has a kitchenette and 3 bedrooms. I recommend the Lodge because the restaurant on site is VERY expensive so it is nice to be able to have your own food/drinks at your site. The Lodge was very private and wonderful! Only steps away from the beautiful XpuHa beach. :) "

"After arriving to this hotel i realized quickly it looked nothing at all like the pictures. The water in the bathroom sinks and shower wete salty and felt like ice water . The rooms were not in great condition.They also do not provide guests with water bottles at all they provide a container of water to each room which I'm not sure it's safe to drink . The clean towels provided daily had stains and at check out we were charged for makeup on a towel and when i asked why i was being charged for...

"Rude morning waiter at breakfast. He said there was no menu and told us there was omelettes only and no price. When we were shocked to find out the total, he demanded a 15-20 percent tip. The rooms were nice but not as expected. We booked a partial ocean view and had no view at all of the ocean"

"The little cabana has very comfortable bed, ac, kitchenette and hot shower! I think we had the best hot shower during our trip. I love the jungle with the duck. The pool was perfect. It is quiet and super relaxing. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice! I really recommend this stop far away from the noise!"

Watching the sun rise over the ocean from bed, having breakfast served on the patio while watching the waves, listening to the sounds of the surf while drifting off to sleep all made the trip magical! All the staff were lovely, food and drinks were delicious and perfect location on the beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax."

"I looked at SO many places to stay in Tulum, and was happy to find this property. It is a small hotel with exceptional staff. We were looking for a "budget" option to stay on the beach, that still offered comfortable accommodations. This does not have all the amenities of some of the larger resorts nearby; but the room was clean, the food was good, and we were happy to have a few days near the beach. "

"Our six night stay here was a nice one overall, but there are many things you should be aware of before booking. Our “garden” room was surrounded by dense foliage that was beautiful, BUT THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING in the “garden” rooms - more like huts with a toilet, shower, and bed - that is all. There isn’t even a ceiling fan. Beware of the mosquitos. The other big issue was the running water (which we obviously never put in our mouth) had an extremely odd smell - not sulfur like...
