Central is a haven for foodies. It is known as a world-class area to eat, though even budget travellers will still find places that are in their price range. It has a reputation of being posh one some of the best restaurants are in the Soho neighbourhood. The Lan Kwai Fong neighbourhood is the best place for a beer—Soho is great for dancing the night away. Shopping in Central HK

There are numerous places to buy antiques and trinkets along Hollywood Road. You'll find everything from Chinese furniture to Ming-dynasty ceramics sold along this historical street. If you are looking for silks and fabrics head to the Lanes. Cat Street is the best place for souvenirs. Visitors that would rather shop in a modern indoor shopping mall should head to the IFC Mall or The Landmark—one of the most glamorous places to shop in the city.
