"Exceptional hotel clean nice and tidy"

"Good service with sincerity and warmth and an overall comfortable stay at this lovely hotel. Every day during my 7-day stay at this hotel, and after a hectic day-out, I looked forward to coming back to the Zen atmosphere of the hotel. The room is on the small side (glad I booked the Superior Double room) but this is not unusual for Tokyo hotels. Extra big king-size bed and additional pillow appreciated. I also appreciated the shower in bathtub with good water pressure and a good range of...

"I barely leave reviews but I set a reminder to leave one to thank everyone at New Otani!! From the concierge to the front desk to literally everyone, I traveled for the first time by myself for my birthday and they did not disappoint. I asked for suggestions and I was met with a full itinerary which made my day even better and less stressful. My room was stunning, the garden was to die for, the breakfast was amazing and I can go on and on about this hotel forever. A big thank you to everyone for...

" The hotel is overall good being modern n clean looking with a touch of class. Location is ok with Shiodome odeo line being under the same roof nearby n the Ginza Asakusa line bit further away. The smaller rooms are tight but there are larger ones. It has everything u need with Japanese clinical efficiency. It felt a bit robotic. A negative would be their strict check out policy. I wanted to check out at 12pm instead of 11am..non nego 2k yen.. "Even if u stay 10 nights said the night...

"The first room provided was next to the utility room. The noise level is the same as in an airplane. After three nights sleeplessness, we talked to the front desk and got chance to move to a room in the other side. The staff were very polite, but their first approach was no room available until we insisted that someone should go to our room to check on the situation. We appreciate they finally arranged the room change and wish they had better way to lower the noise of each room for their...

"The Dormy Inn chain is my favourite Japanese hotel chain and the one in Ikebukuro didn't disappoint. The public bath is lovely and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. We liked the little added touches like free ice cream in the evenings, the free Yakult in the mornings and the free ramen at night. The only slight let down is its location; it would be even better if the hotel was a bit closer to Ikebukuro station."
