"Everyone was friendly. Even though it was near a freeway, it was very quiet. Enjoyed the coffee, muffins and scones in the morning and cookies in afternoon Only drawback one night a guest decided to smoke right of our window. It brought the smoke in our room. I am highly allergic and had to take medication."

"Very nice place, the room was clean. The pool and patio area where amazing. You can eat and hang around the patio very clean and lots of room. Loved it."

"Arrived to hotel late and very tired just to our surprise the doors were locked, no front desk representative around. Called the front desk and ranged the bell for over 30 minutes with no response. Then the desk representative finally shows up and she charges room on my card after I already had paid with reservation. Assured me she would take care of the refund. "This hotel is charming. The facades look like a block of buildings in an imaginary Danish town. The pool is clean and deep. There is mini golf and cornhole. It's a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants in Solvang. They bring a simple breakfast to your room. The room is a good size with desk and chairs. Parking is easy. The rooms are set back from the street. I wasn't disturbed by any street noise during my stay. I would stay here again for sure. "
