Legacy Hotel at IMG Academy

2/10 Terrible

"Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant stay for us. The bathroom was not in good condition, and the TV was not working during our visit. The front desk staff were very kind and genuinely tried to help by finding us another room, but unfortunately they were unable to accommodate the change. We appreciate their effort and customer service, but overall this was the hotel where we felt the least comfortable and where we wanted to spend the least amount of time. We hope these issues can be addressed for future guests."

"Great price for an overnight stay. Very convenient location…6 mins from SRQ. Cute room with 60’s vibe. Comfy bed and a nice shower with good water pressure. Tons of choices for local eats and entertainment. Didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the pool area, but it looked like a cool tiki setting. I’d definitely recommend this accommodation."

"We had a few issues with our room. It was advertised as having a kitchenette, but instead it only had a mini fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and microwave—there was no sink as shown in some of the photos. Our room was also located next to an elevator, and the noise was constant, both late at night and early in the morning. A heads-up about the location would have been appreciated since we have small children. Additionally, the bathroom floor tile appeared damaged from water, it was lifted. The door did not close if a towel was placed from the shower. That said, we only stayed one night, so it was manageable. On a positive note, the beach, pool, and food options were all great. Staff were very friendly and amazing service."
