"I have gone by this hotel for over thirty years and always wanted to stay here. Our room had a magnificent view of the lake and everything from the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier to the Field Museum. The room did not have good climate control. We did have to have the windows open. Thankfully, the weather was mild outside, which made things ultimately very comfortable."

"Terribly loud music played all night and the staff would do nothing about it. Music was blaring all night and we were not offered a solution. Very disappointing."

"This is a nice hotel and uber-convenient being ~5 minutes walking distance from Ohare (terminal 2). It has a nice restaurant, an open "sport-bar"-type area, and a very nice, "elegant" restaurant with piano player and the works. However, the MAJOR drawback of this hotel is the heating / cooling system. It is the old-fashioned typed system that loudly "clunks" on and off all of the time to heat and cool the room. to add to the misery - the heating did not work in my room and so I was cold all night despite the system being set to "heat" [~80 degrees (Fahrenheit)]. It was blowing air - but the air blowing out was cold air and it was only 48 degrees outside. Brrrr!"

"Breakfast buffet is really good! It had a variety of foods. The rooms where clean and comfortable. The lobby always smelled amazing and the staff was very attentive. I love they have bag drop off service if you arrive early before check-in time. We took advantage of this and was able to explore the city…very convenient location too! "
