"Everything was perfect during our 2 night stay from Nov 7-9. We went during low season and got upgraded, so we got a balcony with Matterhorn views and a mini bar with a fridge, plates, eating utensils, glasses, kettle and a Nespresso machine…came in handy since only one restaurant was open during our stay. The spa was so relaxing, the Onsen can get crowded but we just waited for our turn and sometimes we had it to ourselves, the yurts were adorable, love their tea, bathrobes, and slippers. ...

"After a full day of hiking, it was such a pleasure to return to our clean, spacious, and comfortable hotel room to relax. We especially enjoyed soaking in the bathtub and taking in the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Each morning, the generous and delicious breakfast spread was the perfect way to fuel up for another day of adventure. "My room has a balcony that is facing Matterhorn. It is spacious and it looks three times better from the picture. It also has a lift/elevator if it helps. Overall it is a great place to stay. Also it is 15-16 mins walk from the train, a little climb to the hill but for me who is not that athletic i can still manage A little downside was, when I first enter the room, and check the toilet there were f*c*s stains inside the toilet bowl. Good to have some double check for the housekeeping team"

"We had a wonderful 4 nights stay there. Our balcony facing Matterhorn. 7-8 minutes walk to train station. The Sunnegga bahn is like 6 minutes walk. The buses are free but we did’t take it. Saw the blackneck goats matching on the street was cool. Love Zermatt. Definitely want to come back. The dining room window facing Matterhorn. I al recommend this hotel to my friend"

"Our balcony faced the duct work of the restaurant exhaust and the back of the train work shop they need to put something up to make it more aesthetically appealing. Eg. planter boxes to hide the duct work and a nice fence or hedges to hide the the unappealing train work shop."

"The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Although hotel is not far from train station, we were offered to and from complementary shuttle. The shuttle drivers were very nice. The basement room we stayed in was very spacious with a huge washroom and a kitchenette. House keeping was very tidy. The pool and hot tub was refreshing after a long day of hiking. Breakfast had a good variety. We really enjoyed the menu and service at onsite DUDE pub. Highly recommend and will definitely come back...
