"Wonderful stay at the Barksdale House! We had a very quiet and restful stay with our small dog:). The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable-we stayed in the standard king. The breakfast was included and made to order-grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, Belgium waffles-all delicious-we couldn’t believe it was no extra charge. Coffee, tea, water and snacks were available 24/7. There was a Keurig machine right outside our bedroom door which was much appreciated first thing in the morning as...

"This property has a wonderful location with a fantastic view of the water, marsh, and a beautiful marina. The view from the rooftop deck is truly stunning! The staff is fabulous, the breakfast is great, and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The only change we would make would be replacing the shower fixture with an alternative to the waterfall fixture to allow for more water pressure. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I felt very welcomed when I entered the house to check in. Obviously it’s a bed in brew so I was offered a nice cold IPA even before I did my check-in. It’s a fun place to stay. There are others that don’t stay at the hotel that come just to drink so you have a lot of companionship if you want others to talk with while you’re having your beer."
