"Our stay was okay. The entire check-in process was crazy. The amount of time we had to verify ourselves was a little much. "We loved the location. We love San Clemente and all it has to offer. The support person on the phone was very helpful. It’s a great unit. We were very comfortable there. We would return in the future. There are a few things that need to be looked at a little closer. The toilet kept clogging up. Especially when there were more people in the building upstairs. "If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay with good walkability the Casablanca Inn is perfect! We only used our car once , we walked to the San Clemente pier, a couple of close by parks and really close to North Beach. The room was nice, king size bed, big screen tv and good size bathroom. There were a couple of things that happened ( bathroom sink clog and lightbulb out in the ceiling light) both were quickly fixed.👍Good breakfast included-waffles, breakfast sandwich, etc and very good coffee!😀All in all for a close to the beach stay that’s not completely “touristy” this is the place to stay!"

"Excellent hotel for families. Right next to a Ralph's, and 2 restaurants right across the way. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel does definitely need upgrades but overall our room was clean. The suite we stayed at easily accommodated 5 of us, we got the king bed and the sofa pull out which was perfect and we still had another sofa in the room. The pool area was so nice with a gazebo. The location was so perfect to catch the trolley so we didn't need to drive anywhere. All of the staff were super friendly."

"Staff was great. Location was phenomenal. Inside the hotel room was very good - linens, smart features, bathroom - all clean and modern. I would say my biggest complaint was that the hotel itself is in need of a renovation. It’s a bit run down and doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel from the outside. Our room was in building 3 and to get to it we had to take elevators and stairs - it was definitely like a maze to get to the room. The balcony had a great view of the ocean - but the hallway to the room felt like walking through a basement dungeon. But as I said the staff was great and the location is superb."

"Loved the location, proximity to the ocean and view from the 2nd floor. The staff gentlemen were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. I loved to listen to the waves with the half door open and the record players in the rooms was a beautiful touch. Bed was comfy and shower pressure was 100/10 amazing. It was a tad loud being on the 101 and near the train tracks. The only thing I didn’t like was the very difficulty entry and exit with a low clearance car because my bumper struggled each time to get in with the bumps and oncoming traffic. The other thing of issue was that my first room (31) had a window that did not latch for locking and then when they rearranged my stay and put me in another room (13), there were no locks on the windows at all. I was placed into a 3rd room (21) which everything was great and secure, though I will say for the sake of safety especially for solo female travelers the windows should be revamped! Otherwise, it was a great stay and I would absolutely stay again and recommend."
