"Returning to Banff after 20 years away was a dream, and Buffalo Mountain Lodge made it unforgettable. We were married two decades ago on the field right across from the lodge with Rundle Mountain as our backdrop, so staying here was incredibly nostalgic. We were delighted to be upgraded from a standard room to a suite, which made our anniversary trip feel even more special. The king-size bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we spent every evening enjoying the authentic wood-burning fireplace. The outdoor hot tub was a highlight, and the service was top-notch—they even called us five minutes after check-in to ensure we were happy! We even bought the beautiful wooden coasters from our room at reception as a souvenir. We’ll be back for sure, and we’re definitely booking the suite next time—the luxury is well worth it!"

"Excellent stay, can’t complain. Only thing to note is I had a standard single king bed room, and the bed is on a second floor in the room. Without A/C in the room, even in winter it was slightly too warm to sleep comfortably"

"The room was ok, it smelled musty a the floor was damp under the carpet in some spots. It rained the whole time we were there and the window was leaking and soaked the area rug upstairs. The best part of staying at the Fox is the hot pool"

"Ok. Not as nice as it used to be. Had a late check-in by half an hour and the sheets could've been cleaner. Carpet in the hallways was very dirty as well. "

"Local Bus and Ski Shuttle stops right at the front or within a 2 min walk. A&W and convenience store across the street for a quick breakfast and snacks. Great hot tub/sauna. Super clean and friendly staff. Walk to downtown in 15 min. Easy/easy/easy. "

"I was excited to he back to see if there are any improvements from my last stay here in October. And yes there were improvements in communication with front desk, housekeeping, more smiles and politeness within mist of the staff. Also the construction continues but you can see clear changes and improvements. There is a new water machine on the front and a new washroom that was not there next to the lounge in October and we had to use the one on the second floor (public washroom). Stay was comfortable. Beds lovely and i appreciate the calm view out the back. This time we had 3 reservations here for our 8 night stay."
