"The customer service at this location is absolutely horrible. The front desk refused to honor an earlier booking I made. I waited several hours in the lobby until rebooking. So I was forced to pay again for a room already paid for. In the meantime I have not receive a refund for the original booking. The manager said there was nothing she could do to assist me other than cancel my original booking."

"I seldom write reviews. I felt inclined to write this one because it was so bad and I gave the hotel every opportunity to explain and make the situation right. It started with us checking in. No one was in the lobby because it was around lunch time, which we understood. My dad went to get coffee after getting off our flight from Richmond to Houston. It was empty. No big deal. I asked about it and the receptionist said she would let staff know. Then she proceeded to ask me if I was ok with...

"This was my husband's and my second time staying at the Yelm. It is always clean inside and out. The breakfast is great. They actually have a hot breakfast. My only suggestion would be to add a waffle option. However, the biscuits are absolutely delicious. It is such a convenient location. We are foodies. So, having several food options around was a huge bonus."

"Spacious, very clean, quiet room. Amazing beds. Covered parking garage on site, with private access, so it feels very safe, also, they have security personnel making rounds. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Cleaning service is offered every third day, the hotel makes a note of that in the small card they attach to your room key. Didn't try the restaurant since we cooked in our room's kitchen."

"I stayed here for 10 days and since day one I couldn’t wait for the end of my trip. The day I checked in I had to wait 1hr 20 minutes for someone to come check me in. When he showed up he said sorry I went in the shower when you called, I am not sure if you’re on duty to take showers? My total reservation amount from Expedia didn’t match the total charged by the hotel there is about $50 more. They use a cleaning chemical smells really bed to the point you wake up light headed."

"The place was clean and modern and the breakfast was very good. However, they run the place really cheaply so I would not go back. They only clean the rooms every other day but give you towels for 1 day. The room had no conditioner and the body lotion didn’t work. There was no bar soap. They use the cheapest, thinnest toilet paper I’ve encountered in a hotel. They give you 1 coffee capsule for your stay, no matter how many nights. And they charge $20 per day for parking."
