Muzium Seni Agung Rai

We had a wonderful stay overall and would happily recommend this villa. The villa itself was beautiful, comfortable, and had gorgeous views. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and spoke enough English that communication was never an issue. The food was the best we had anywhere in Bali, and the candlelight dinner was one of the most romantic experiences we've ever had. We also loved the friendly dogs on the property, Chica and Poukie, who added so much charm to our stay. There were a few areas that could be improved. The shower floor was uncomfortable to stand on, and while the oversized bathtub looked amazing, it took a very long time to fill and ran out of hot water twice, so we ended up with a lukewarm bath. We appreciated that the room's reflective windows provided privacy during the day while still allowing us to enjoy the beautiful view. However, the private pool and deck felt less secluded than we expected because workers and neighboring villas were visible. We also noticed a few housekeeping issues. The kitchen drawers contained animal droppings, so we didn't feel comfortable using the kitchenware. There was an ashtray on the porch that still contained old cigarette butts, and we noticed a few stains on the bed canopy netting. Despite those issues, the outstanding staff, incredible food, beautiful villa, and unforgettable candlelight dinner made this a very enjoyable stay.
