This hotel is sharing the parking space with the shopping centre and doesn’t have a significant sign to show the way to hotel. Unlike many other hotels in China (including a five star hotel in same area I stayed before), everything in this hotel works as they are designed to. Front desk is helpful and friendly. "I’ve stayed here many times, but something has changed with their wifi access. It’s set up to take your cell number and send an access code by text. Unfortunately, the system only accepts Chinese cell phone numbers. I tried explaining this to the desk manager, but it wasn’t being understood. If you stay here, be prepared to have someone come to your room with their Chinese cell phone in order to get you online, or just stay at Crown Plaza next door and skip the hassle. "

"Good tidy hotel. About 30min walk from the metro. Across the road from Lord bao Park which was very nice to walk through even after dark when the main are was closed. About 30min walk to the CBD and food streets with great food and atmosphere. Lots of shops downstairs selling massage chairs which were fun to test out. Good breakfast (only Chinese)"

"The rooms are lovely and sumptuous. However, I only ever found one staff member who had any english, and that was on the last day. Also, my Mandarin, which is minimal, but worked fine in Guangzhou, was incomprehensible here where perhaps there are fewer foreigners. I could not ever figure out where the breakfast was.
