"We spent 2 different nights at the Mt McKinney lodge. Our 1st stay, we had ordered a handicapped room, they put us in a room on the 2nd floor, no elevator, 2 parking lots and 2 buildings away from our build and of course the room wasn't handicapped friendly, then it took over an hour to get the same kind of room on the 1st floor in the same building. "Was in the woods - which we like, but not far from Talkeetna. There are a couple short trails that lead to a creek on property - saw lots of birds there. Cabin overlooked woods - nice & cozy. Loved cabin 8!"

"Really neat place! There are only a couple rooms, and the bathrooms are shared because the building is really old. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed it. It’s a little busier, and there is a bar directly below that sometimes has live music - so if that’s not your thing, don’t book here. My wife and I loved it!"
