"The location is great. The hotel is old and beaten down but it's clean and lively. Its in the heart of a busy area so if you stay on the 1st floor the noise from the street will be a part of your stay. It's not too bad though actually adds a nice vibe to the stay. I had a problem checking in on time becasue the roads were closed by protests that day and the hotel couldn't really offer anything to help like moving my booking to the next day or refund my booking so I can book somewhere I can get...

"The staff was excellent! Special mention to Hussein who went out of his way to be helpful! The location was excellent to walk to all of the tourist sites and the tramway was also close by. The room (partial sea view room) was quiet and just the right size.
