I asked to change the room because it looked old and weary (nothing like the online pictures). Even though the breakfast area was on the top floor, it was very crowded and messy. The food wasn’t great either. Cheap desserts, no fish like smoked salmon for breakfast, no option to make an omelette or fried eggs, had to wait until tea glasses would appear for use for quite awhile.
What we truly didn’t understand was when we came back at night and found out that the cleaning lady got our personal clothing out of our luggage and a backpack. It was shocking. She literally went into our bags to place our clothes on our beds. The only luggage she couldn’t get into was mine because I had a combination lock on it. The room had nothing - no iron, no mini fridge (only a mini bar full of stuff), no bathrobes. We changed the hotel and moved the one across the street and for the same price we got an upgraded, modern room with free teeth brushes, a razor, cotton balls and sticks. Modern lighting system, an iron, bathrobes and for breakfast we could ask us to cook eggs however we wanted (menemen, fried, scrambled).
