Hotel was comfortable, clean, and half a block from the metro. It was also just across the street from a historic temple, and 2 blocks from the jade market and the Temple street night time market. Breakfast was fine but had to laugh when they advertised sausage and it was actually hot dogs. Only complaint was that the beds were really hard.
There are several buses that run from the center of the city to Ap Le Chau, but at rush hour one can expected to queue for up to 30 minutes. Alternatively, with the cheap & efficient taxi service one can expect to pay about $70HK, $10 USD to the hotel.
The room itself is very small but has all the amenities one could ask, like free bottle water, refrigerator, toiletries, slipper etc. Bed length is only 5'6", which may not be suitable for some westerners.
every single staff we met not only are professional but also friendly and caring. It will be great if they can change the set up of shower as the curtain is not strong enough to keep away the water. A small fridge set up in the room will be handy during hot seasons.
This hotel is the first place I would look at if I was to return to Hong Kong. Two minute walk to Central MTR, around the corner from the bars and clubs of Soho. Request a room on a high floor and get the bonus of good views over Hong Kong. We stayed at the Butterfly for two nights also and it didn't come close to this place.
We stayed at Cosmo hotel for 3 nights and I must say that this is the best hotel we stayed so far. We're on the 25th flr so we had a nice view. We had breakfast included and the best part of it was they have handy, a cellphone from our room that you can bring anywhere you go. You can make phone call locally and even international! It is with wifi so you are always connected and it's all free while you stay. I already recommended it to all my friends. Thank's expedia!
They allowed me to check in early without fee. Staff were very helpful, especially the concierge. Rooms were on the small side but it suited me at the time. My 'cityview' room on 18th floor was of a concrete wall but I just needed a place to sleep for the night. Hotel is close to ferry, buses, taxi's are easy and it's less than 5 min to subway. Many restaurants in the area as well as of course the Wan Chai area - the hotel is in an excellent location. Checkout was a little slow while they checked the room and minibar (which I did not use) but that would be as close as I would come to a negative comment, everything else was excellent.
