"Only stayed for one night but will certainly be back, the hotel is an old coaching inn from the 1800’s and if you are looking for a bland, anonymous place it’s not for you, quiet, friendly, warm and comfortable with character and quirks, my room had a 10” thick mattress ( i’m sad, i measured it ) with very good quality bedding that gave me a superb night’s sleep and even a settee to lounge on while i watched the good sized tv, views out of my windows were of Lickey forest. "The property was fabulous, just what we needed, my wife and 3 teenage granddaughters had a wonderful stay, peaceful, everything we needed was there, the host was brilliant, at the end of the phone when we called and great location for the city centre Christmas markets. No negatives from me! "

"Had a lovely stay, the Rumi room was beautiful, the bath tub was gorgeous, very deep and extremely relaxing. Plenty of towels and great amenities, bed was really comfortable. The receptionist was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Parking was very easy, in a nice area. Will definitely visit again one day, if prices are right. Thank you"
