"I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. "Returned to the hotel we were married in 18yrs ago. Such a beautiful building in a gorgeous setting. Rooms are very comfortable, huge bed and a great shower. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of hot and cold choices "
