"Stay was ok. Couple of things to be aware of - early check in (I arrived at 1230) costs £40 and buffet breakfast for any kids over 12 is £20 each so £60 for a family of 3 is quite a lot. I think the Marriott could do a lot more to make their hotels more family friendly and welcoming."

"Wasn’t quite what I was expecting on check in, more an apart-hotel than hotel. Check in area and bar / restaurants very good with nice ambience. Was a bit disappointed with room, didn’t feel it really reflected the pictures and description. Very small and space sacrificed to make into a studio area. Bed was tucked into a corner which made it awkward for 2 people and bathroom space limited. Expected it to be a bit more luxurious for price and compared to rest of hotel. That said, great location...

"I will start by saying that customer service offered to cancel our stay. We chose to stay despite being unhappy due to our short time in London - check-in was confusing, the pub/tavern was not terribly clean -we found dog poo along the walkway. The remote checkin support person did not know we needed two different codes to enter the building - this was not a hotel! An unmarked building with individual apartments. "The room was clean and had everything that was needed for a few days. The TV, kitchen and bathroom were great. The bed was very soft and not very comfy. Check in was a bit of a worry as they do ask you for a deposit of £50 and don't give the access codes until that was done. I arrived after 6pm and there was no-one there so it created a bit of a panic until I managed to get a reply and they gave me the codes. Overall the room was pleasant and within easy walking distance of Golders Green Tube...

"The only member of staff I needed was the bar tender at the adjacent who showed me how the external door opened! The room and facilities were perfect for what I needed and I will definitely try to use it again when I am next in need of an overnight or two stay in the area. Just one item of feedback. I suggest that a layer of foam or soft material is placed at the base of the steel ‘BIG KEY’ box for guest’s use on departure!"
