"Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch.... "

"The building and rooms were clean and cozy, we enough space to be comfortable. I would maybe skip on the breakfast, it was just a breadbun and croissant per person, and a slice of cheese, butter and small marmalede/jam. There is also no coffee machine, a part from a nespresso. So we were happy to have brought coffee bags. But the location is great, everything was walking distance, and just in general happy to have stayed in Hlemmur suites. :) thumps up. "

"Great location with tons of restaurants and shops, as well as walkable to most tourist attractions. Loved the funky decor, hotel breakfast was ample and included a large variety of items. The sauna is also awesome! Comfortable bed, good water pressure too. My only complaint was no coffee in the room."

"Finding lodging in Iceland isn't easy on a budget. So when I saw this "relatively" low priced guesthouse, I must say I wasn't expecting much. What a great surprise it was! It couldn't have been any cleaner. No carpets anywhere (carpets in hotels are rarely fresh and clean). It was extremely quiet. There was a balcony. My friend and I were in a room with a shared bathroom and there were only 3 rooms sharing the bathroom. Walking out the front door the big church is just a block away and in full...
