"The directions were easy to follow so we found the hotel without a problem. The receptionist was delightful and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable and warm. The shower had great water pressure and there was a hairdryer. With free parking outside the front door and breakfast included there wasn't anything not to like. Great value for money ."

I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...

"Loved our stay at Casa Dona Edite. The rooms were very clean and modern. The owners Antonio and Cristina were the most amazing hosts. The dinner option they offer is a must. The homemade food they prepared was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for the great advice on what to do and see in the Douro Valley it was much appreciated.
