"I stayed for 4 days during the week so saw two different teams of staff, every single one of whom was exactly the right level of friendly, approachable and pleasantly conversational without ever being intrusive. The food was excellent with a special mention for the mushroom risotto which was frankly gorgeous enough to end wars. The beer was well kept, the internet worked and there was always a parking space. "

"We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations."

Dont be shy to let more personality come through via chat and smiles while in the restaurant, food fab quality. Breakfast good, eggs cooked well and quickly.
