"Lovely typical country pub / hotel. Very friendly welcome, room and bathroom were very clean. Good tea / coffee facilities and homemade biscuits were a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, wish we'd had time to taste lunch or dinner as it smelled fab. Next time we are visiting family nearby we will be back. Thank you"

"A really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast. "Beautiful property, gorgeous rooms but it’s the extra touches like free wellies to use when it’s muddy, free popcorn, drinks and snacks in the corridors, wine hour, free homemade biscuits etc that make it even more special. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved the serene spa space we had almost to ourselves. Staff also couldn’t be more helpful. Will be back in summer to try the outdoor pool "
