The area around there is perfect in the sense that it is quiet, but there’s outstanding dining and you could walk to the older part of town. "We were obsessed with this hotel. It was so pretty and eclectic inside, great art and decor in the rooms. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was to die for. We did a very impromptu whisky tasting and learned a lot- it was better than the whisky tour we did earlier in the week. We were sad to go and can’t wait to visit again! "

"This apartment style hotel was very roomy and had a great view of the Edinburgh castle. In a great location and you can walk to all the restaurants and shopping. We loved it!"

"It's a central location in old town: 5 minutes from Castle and 2 minutes to Royal mile. Victoria street is next over so it gets a 5 star for location. That comes with its own downside, loud noise from bars was audible well into the night even with the windows closed. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Living room and kitchen are downstairs and king bed and sofa bed are upstairs. We were 2 adults and a kid and were comfortable. The only problem was the thermostat which had its own mind....
