Great location in the ‘new town’ close enough to walk to all main attractions. The room was clean and modern, however we booked the family studio which included a sofa bed that was really only a single and needed to accommodate a 13 and 16 year old. This was way too small which caused a few issues.

Room is great. But the floor is not very sound proof. I can hear foot steps, chairs moving from person above me all night till 1.30am. I requested high floor to avoid this problem. But still end up with this major issue that causes lack of sleep

Great location. You wouldn't even know it's in the top floor of a mall. Hotel has a private entrance to the street once you check in which was very convenient. Staff was very freindly, rooms were clean, and the place was very quiet. Great walking location for anywhere in Edinburgh. We never even need a car. Coffee and croissants in the lobby were perfect for on the go. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning an extended stiay in Scotland.
